Peepin'

Written by
Before you know it, the Easter Bunny will be hoppin' down the bunny trail! Back in the day-- like waaaaay back-- I used to like Peeps. As I kid, I think we all ate anything that was sugary. Now, bleh. But, I'm totally down with this Peep-shaped pancake maker!!!! The cuteness of Peeps without the sugar overload (if you add a bottle of maple syrup, that's on you). Score yours at the usual haunts: Target, Walmart, Amazon...

About Last Night...

Now you've gone and done it. Had one too many adult beverages. The next day is now kicking you in the head with regret. What to do? Eat these foods to help you out of your drunkdicament... Bananas: They're packed with potassium, which is something your body loses a lot of after a night of heavy drinking. A lack of potassium can lead to nausea and fatigue.  Pickles: Really? Salt can sometimes keep nausea at bay. Pickles are loaded with salty electrolytes that can help your body recover quicker. If desperate, drink the juice.  Chicken: Protein is important! It breaks down…

She's Arrived

Written by
Clawdia has made her debut at the Akron Zoo. The rare blue lobster that was rescued from the Red Lobster in Cuyahoga Falls last summer is now living the good life.  She debuted this past weekend and lives in a habitat within the Komodo Kingdom. Blue lobsters are extremely rare-- 1 in 2 million. But Clawdia recently underwent her molting process, and now she's a beautiful rainbow color.  I feel like she's my seafood sister because I pitched in for her care. In return I received a certificate, a blue lobster fact sheet, a picture of Clawdia, and a stuffie.…

Let It Snowflake

Written by
I really don't mind the snow. I'd prefer it if Mother Nature got on my page and only let it snow when most people are home, preferably, during the weekend. At night. LOL I don't mind driving in snow-- so long as other people aren't around because their driving skills are sus.  But snowflakes are always cool! I remember making paper snowflakes with my mom. You probably did, too. Now that we're grown (allegedly), we can take our snowflake game up a notch. Click HERE for some cool homemade snowflake decos to make your place a winter wonderland.

Flaptastic

Written by
It's a debate that has split the Twiterverse in two and has risen up again: What's up with the flap on a large order of McDonald's fries? Does the flap have a deeper purpose-- like folding down and holding your ketchup?   Did y’all know the flap on your fries box actually has a purpose? pic.twitter.com/abptKfFxSB — Today Years Old (@todayyearsoldig) January 5, 2019 Some agree that the flap is the condiment place holder. Others say it's just a flap. You can try it for yourself. For me, it's an accident waiting to happen. I'll be wearing that ketchup-- or…

Welp, Superbowl 55 is in the books. Not the most exciting game or halftime show. I enjoyed the Puppy Bowl so much more... Anywho, at least these "Superballs" were way more exciting than the game. *This* Close

Written by
When Kris and I left the studio the other day, we saw this in the parking lot:  Whoa! The grey SUV is clearly over the line. My question-- does The Grey have front sensors? Or did Grey nudge the car in front of him, then back up a smidge? Like-- "It's close, but I sensed when to stop. So, we're good." Thank goodness our cars weren't involved, cuz I would've sleuthed down the answer. LOL  Please. Park responsibly. That's a reminder for me as well because I have a tendency to park crooked. My parking skills have diminished ever since…
