Wonder...ful?

Written by
I'm willing to try new food stuffs. Thomas' English Muffins have never let me down with their limited edition flavors. They all taste authentic. Now, Wonder Bread is tired of being just white bread. They're doing the English muffin thing with two flavors: strawberry and chocolate. I just can't get past how the chocolate ones look like they've been left in the toaster too long. And the strawberry ones? Looks like jelly beans and not strawberries. But tasting is believing. Who's in?

Hello, heat! Summer isn't here yet, but the temperatures are on the upswing. I'm seeing so many posts on social media of people getting their backyards ready for summer fun, getting their pools open for splish-splashing.  I know some people who are suckers for a pool floatie. They have a gajillion floaties, but there's always room for one more, right? Check this one out: Sam's Club members can snag this baby up: Retro Pink Limo Island. An island!!! It's next-level floatie awesomeness. Click HERE to order one.

Juiced

Written by
Why should kids have all the fun? We need to take our adult minds and make kid stuff ours. That's what these Aldi fans did. The Aldi Nerd Facebook group is 1.5 million members strong, and they know how to Aldi and do life. Member Tammy Hurt created the drink we all need: Adult Capri Suns. Inspired by her daughter's love of putting frozen grapes in her drinks to keep them cool but not watered down, Tammy came up with the idea of "juice" pouches for adults. Take a bag of frozen fruit (Aldi, of course) and add Aldi fruity…

Halfway There

Written by
It's hard to think about fall activities when we haven't even been kissed by the sun of summer yet. But... this is worth it. I'm really liking the whole "halfway to" excuses to celebrate things. Like, "halfway to St. Patrick's Day" celebration. Or, "halfway to Christmas." For some people, Halloween is Christmas. That's why a little haunted house action right now would be fun.  The Akron Haunted Schoolhouse & Laboratory is celebrating Halfway to Halloween by opening its creaky, haunted doors this Saturday for spooky fun. It's one night only, but hopefully enough to satisfy you until October.  Click HERE…

You Are The Father

Written by
No need to call Maury Povich after all. After 13 loooooooong years, fans of The Office finally know who's the father of Jan's baby.  Tennis star Andy Roddick. On an episode of their "Office Ladies" podcast, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey shared the "big reveal" was cut from the show even though it was a part of the original script. It originally went down like this: “Jan looks to Michael like she’s expecting him to be very impressed,” Kinsey said. “And Michael says, ‘The tennis player?’ And Jan says, ‘Well, it’s a little more than that. He’s the sixth-ranked player…

Working Class Dog

I don't know how I missed this one, but it's the story of Tuscon. The stray dog who wouldn't leave a Hyundai dealership ended up as the mascot and "employee".  My heart...
