Hula Good!

Written by

Oh, these hybrids! Not the vehicles, but the foods. The latest hybrid to tempt our palates: the Hula Berry. And that is? It's a berry that looks like a strawberry, but smells and tastes like a pineapple.

Whoa!

But these berries aren't genetically modified. And, they're not a product of a pineapple and strawberry making nice. LOL Hula berries grow naturally when cross-polinated with regular strawberry plant.

You can't buy these in the store-- yet-- but you can buy the seeds on Amazon, at Walmart. and on Etsy and grow your own.

Try 'em in your dessert recipes this summer... or plop one or two in a glass of wine.
