You've probably seen the recipe that's taking over social media-- the baked feta pasta one. So incredibly simple to make, and the dish looked delish. I had to try it. So, we did this weekend. It was fantastic! Have you tried it yet?
Baked Feta Pasta Recipe
1/2 box of pasta cooked according to package directions
1 block of feta cheese
1 package of grape or cherry tomatoes
1/2 red chili pepper
Salt and pepper (to taste)
4 cloves of garlic (optional)
Fresh basil leaves (optional)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. While the oven is preheating, start cooking the pasta. Place the block of feta in the middle of an oven-safe dish, and dump the tomatoes in around it. Drizzle a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper over the cheese and tomatoes, and gently toss the tomatoes to coat. Put the cheese and tomatoes in the oven for 30 minutes. While it's in the oven, remove pasta from the stove. Drain and set aside. Remove cheese and tomatoes from the oven, and mix it all together. Add the pasta and mix. Then garnish with fresh basil and or crushed red pepper and enjoy!
