In the year that is 2020, it may be challenging to see the good... to feel and accept positivity... to believe that anything good happened so far.
As we take pause to enjoy Thanksgiving either virtually or in-person with family, I wanted to take a moment to express gratitude. I'm grateful that my health and the health of my friends and family is holding up so far. I'm grateful that there are still good people in our community and in our nation doing wonderful things every day to positively impact the lives of others. And strangely, I'm grateful that this pandemic has connected us forever in history. I've had more conversations with complete strangers this year than I've had previously. I've learned more about the cashier at the store, the waitress at my favorite hangout, and the healthcare pros I've encountered. Our spirit is strong. And we will overcome.
And last but not least... I'm grateful for you, jenY Nation. I've said it before, and I won't stop saying it. You are amazing people. We're united in music discovery and fun and conversation, and you've navigated this year with us. We launched as a new station and format in January, and recently adjusted our music offerings again, and yet... you're down for the ride. Thank you for that. Everyone needs a good ride-or-die person, and that's all of you.
May this Thanksgiving find you healthy, happy and peaceful. And know that we are with you in spirit, always.
