Kids are truly amazing. I love how their minds work-- coming up with interesting names for everyday things. The Huff Post asked their Facebook community to share what kids call common things. Like this one:
"My son calls grated parmesan cheese ‘spaghetti sprinkles’ and now our whole family calls it that. It makes spaghetti sound so much more fun and festive!” ― Jess Marshall
My husband calls Parmesan cheese "sprinkle cheese", while I call over-easy eggs "dippy eggs."
Here's another one:
“My 5-year-old calls aprons ‘baking capes.’” ― Katherine Quinn
This one is literal:
“My kids called the washing machine the ‘wetter’ ― as in the opposite of the dryer.” ― Emily Brooke Sharp
