It's that special time of year again: Dilemma Season. It's the in between cold and kinda-cold. Beautiful and pleasant during the day; Nipply at night. And by nipply I mean-- able to cut glass.
I loathe the idea of turning on the furnace in September. Seriously, the first week of the month you're sweating from places you didn't know you could-- then by the third week of the month you 're wearing socks and comtemplating how cold it'll get inside before you cave. I woke up Saturday morning to 64 degrees inside our house. No biggie. Wear a sweatshirt. After a full day of sunshine, the inside temp got up to 70. Perfect. A good reason to drink more tea. Or do jumping jacks.
But my husband. My poor, cold, husband has a thyroid condition that makes him extremely sensitive to temperature. And since I love him and stuff and since he was still shivering under two blankets yesterday, I turned the heat on. Only to get the inside temp up to comfortable. I don't believe I violated my "no heat til October" rule. I'll just call it a home hot flash... HA!
Speaking of hot & cold, why not enjoy a little Katy Perry:
