One in Two Million

Written by

I did something impulsive.

Remember when we talked about the rare blue lobster that an employee discovered at the Red Lobster in Cuyahoga Falls? Well, that one-in-two-million lobster is now living out a non-feast-on-me life at the Akron Zoo. The Red Lobster employee had named him Claude, after RL's mascot. Well, the zoo discovered he is a she, and so she was named Clawdia. Love it!

I saw that Clawdia was a part of the Akron Zoo's Care for a Critter program. And I just had to contribute. It was impulsive. It happened at 4 in the morning when I took a brief moment to not prep for the morning show. And I'm so glad I did it! With my donation, not only will care be provided for Clawdia, but I received such a nice package in return-- the above pictured stuffie of Clawdia, a picture of Clawdia, and a certificate of appreciation.

Plus, I'm an animal lover. So this was something I was happy to do, whether or not I got something in return. If you would like to help care for the animals that we enjoy visiting, click HERE

And yes... I completely geeked out like a little kid when I got my package in the mail. LOL
