Hell's Fire

For some people, Halloween is their Christmas. The elaborate decor. The awesome parties. The spooky vibe... This will add that extra "creepy" factor to your fall gatherings: These stoneware skulls are fireproof and lightweight, and will freak people out! Talk about a conversation piece... You can get one of these skull "logs" on Amazon for under $50. Well worth the investment if it creeps someone out. Hopefully, no one will call the police on you. LOL Get your skulls HERE.

Squashed It!

Our neighbor gave us two butternut squash from their garden. We're so lucky to have neighbors that are all  green thumb-y, because I am not! I'm not a butternut squash-cooker, but I gave it a spin the other day with awesome results. With Fall on its way, this is the perfect, comforting recipe from The Kitchn.com. (FYI: I roasted my whole butternut squash in my slow cooker for 4 hours on high.) Pining for This

Written by
I love pineapple. When I was a kid, I was a bit addicted. My mom would open a can of pineapple rings, and I would go to town. Now that I'm an adult (allegedly), I dabble with whole pineapples. But they're such a pain to cut and portion...  But with this hack... Mind. Blown.

PB & What?

Written by
Peanut butter is a staple. My hubs eats it on an English muffin with honey and cinnamon every morning. PB & J is a great go-to for whatever meal or snack. But every few months or so, the debate rages on about one peanut butter combo: PB and mayo.  While it got its origins from the Great Depression, some people swear it's a delish combo. Have you tried it? Would you?
